NSE BSE Transaction Fees: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have made significant changes in the transaction fees for cash, futures, and options trading. The transaction fee for cash market in NSE will now be Rs 2.97 per lakh traded value.

In the equity derivatives segment, the transaction fee for futures will be Rs 1.73 per lakh traded value, while the premium charge for options will be Rs 35.03 per lakh.

In the currency derivatives segment, NSE has fixed the transaction fee for futures at Rs 0.35 per lakh, and in currency options and interest rate options the charge will be Rs 31.1 per lakh premium.

BSE has also changed its transaction charges. In the currency derivatives segment, a charge of Rs 45 will be levied on turnover of Rs 1 crore on futures contracts. Whereas in BSE Options, a fee of Rs 100 has been fixed on premium turnover of Rs 1 crore. These new charges will be applicable from October 1.

These changes have been made as per the instructions of the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI). In July, SEBI had ordered stock exchanges to implement uniform flat fee structure for all members, thereby improving the fee structure based on volume and activity. (NSE BSE Transaction Fees)
