On the second day of the second test, Sri Lankan batsman Kamindu Mendis has done something amazing which has happened since 1949. He has created this record after 75 years. Not only this, by scoring a century he has equaled the record of the great player of cricket history, Sir Don Bradman.
In fact, on the second day of the second Test against New Zealand, Mendis remained at one end. In this way he completed his century and also created a new history. Kamindu Mendis has scored his century with the help of fours in 147 balls. He hit 12 fours and 1 six in his innings.

This happened for the first time in 147 years of history
For information, let us tell you that on the first day of this test, Kamindu Mendis had achieved a feat for the first time in 147 years of Test cricket by scoring a half-century which no one has been able to do till date. He has become the first batsman in the world to score eight half-centuries in eight consecutive matches after his Test debut. He left behind Saud Shakeel of Pakistan in this matter.
