Officers should be transparent in agricultural schemes: MP

Motihari, 25 November (Hindustan Times). PM Modi is always concerned about improving the condition of the farmers. For this, the central government is running several farmer welfare schemes. Shivhar MP Rama Devi said the above while addressing the farmers during the inauguration of the two-day agricultural mechanization fair organized at the Krishi Bhawan complex in Chatauni city on Friday. The MP said that farmers Were getting distracted from agricultural work. In such a situation, Narendra Modi’s government started the Kisan Samman Yojana for the farmers.

Giving clear instructions to the agriculture officers, he said that there should be transparency in the various schemes being run by the Central Government and more and more farmers should get the benefits of the schemes. The same former minister and Motihari MLA Pramod Kumar said that there has been a significant increase in production from agricultural work with the help of state-of-the-art agricultural machinery. Narendra Modi’s government has given the slogan of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and Jai Vigyan. MLA E. Rana Randhir Singh appealed to the people that all the citizens should give their active cooperation in making their city clean, only then the city can become pollution free.

MLA Lalbabu Gupta said that it is the responsibility of the department to provide fertilizers and seeds to the farmers on time. Before this, District Agriculture Officer Chandradev Prasad gave detailed information about the schemes being run by the government and insisted on maximum use of state-of-the-art equipment to the farmers.

Operation was done by Assistant Director Plant Protection Sujit Nath Mallick. District Council Vice President Geeta Devi, KVK Piprakothi Chief Arvind Singh, Assistant Director Chemicals Amitesh Progressive Farmers Ajay Dev, Durga Singh, Vijay Singh, Madan Singh, Deepak Kumar, Nandkishore Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Rajesh Kumar Srivastava and others were present on the occasion.
