OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro Battery and Charging Details Surface Online Again

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and Ace 5 will be the upgraded successors to the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and Ace 3, respectively. In the last few weeks, details about the handsets have surfaced online. Earlier leaks had suggested that the base variant and Pro could arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. But a fresh leak reveals some proposed battery, charging, and camera details of the purported phones. The company hasn’t officially confirmed its release. It is said to be released in early 2025.

OnePlus Ace 5 Series Specifications (Rumored)

Digital Chat Station, a tipster, has posted on Weibo that the OnePlus Ace 5 series phones might come with 6,500mAh batteries. Besides, the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro may also support 100W wired charging.

The tipster also mentions that the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro may sport a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor mated to a telephoto lens. The phones in the rumored lineup are also likely to feature ceramic builds and flat screens.

Long ago, the same tipster had also said that OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro may be taking on BOE X2 OLED flat screens with 1.5K resolution. The lower model will apparently get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro variant is rumoured to be running on the unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The phones are likely to feature the same 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX9-series sensors as well.

Some of the earlier leaks suggest that OnePlus Ace 5 series devices will sport a triple rear camera unit. They might boast right-angled metal middle frames. The ultra-thin optical fingerprint sensors on the devices will provide security to its users. The displays of the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro variants are suspected to be loaded with ultra-slim bezels on all sides.
