Opened two more lanes coming to Noida on DND toll, decision taken due to pressure of vehicles

Noida. In view of the pressure of vehicles, the traffic police has opened two more lanes coming to Noida on DND toll. Now traffic coming from Delhi to Noida will be able to come from 6 lanes simultaneously.

DCP Traffic Anil Yadav said that two more lanes have been opened to reduce the traffic pressure on the DND border. With this, traffic will be able to run simultaneously on six lanes. Apart from this, three lanes are set to take U-turns. At present, the additional lane has been opened at DND toll as a trial.

Traffic pressure will be checked till Monday. However, with the opening of all lanes except the U-turn lane, the traffic pressure on the DND loop will increase significantly. Apart from this, running five lanes continuously from Yamuna Bank to DND border leads to over speeding. Now these vehicles will enter Noida without any hindrance. Due to this, the possibility of accidents on film city cut including DND loop will increase significantly.

Traffic Inspector Ashutosh Singh told that till Monday, if the possibility of accident or overspeeding increases in the trial, then according to the instructions of the authorities, the extra lane will be closed.
