If reports are to be believed, this suicide attack was carried out by the fidayeen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan itself has disclosed this fact. After the incident, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir reached Peshawar and took stock of the relief and rescue operations.
