Paracitamol Uses: We take paracetamol medicines for any body pain, it provides relief from pain but recently a big update has come out regarding this. According to which 53 medicines including paracetamol have not passed the quality check. Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has disclosed this in its latest report.
Emphasizing on the low use of these medicines, a report has been presented according to which along with the medicines, even the injections have not been able to meet the quality standards.

According to the report released here, CDSCO has also declared Pantocid tablets including paracetamol, which is used to treat acid reflux, as failing in quality. Apart from this, calcium and vitamin medicines included in multivitamins have also not passed the quality check. Regarding this, CDSCO in its report has actually released a list of fake, adulterated and misbranded medicines, medical devices, vaccines and cosmetics. Apart from Paracetamol medicine, Pulmosil (Sildenafil injection), Pantocid (Pantoprazole tablet IP), Ursocol 300 (Ursodeoxycholic acid tablets Indian Pharmacopoeia) have been included in this list.

Liver treatment medicine also failed
Here the medicines have failed on the quality scale and Shelcal and Pulmosil injections have also not been able to prove their quality in this race. These injections are actually used to treat high blood pressure. Ursocol 300 tablet, a medicine used in the treatment of liver, has also failed on the quality scale. Apart from this, the names of Telma H (Telmisartan 40 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg Tablet IP), Deflazacort Tablet (Defacort 6 Tablet) also come in these medicines.
Along with this, 48 medicines which were found to be substandard have also been declared unfit on several parameters. In the list of all these medicines, they have been declared harmful for use.
