Param Rudra Supercomputer Service at research centers in Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, PM Modi inaugurates

Latest News :- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the service of Param Rudra Supercomputer yesterday through video. Yesterday a government welfare program was to be held in Pune, Maharashtra. It was announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would attend and launch projects worth Rs 20,900 crore. But due to heavy rain, the welfare function of Pune government was cancelled. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched some important projects through video from Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to making India self-reliant in the field of supercomputing technology. According to this, under the National Supercomputing Initiative, 3 Param Rudra supercomputers have been developed indigenously at a cost of Rs 130 crore and installed at research centers in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the service of these 3 supercomputers through video yesterday.

At the Giant Meter Radio Telescope (GMRT) center in Pune, the Param Rudra supercomputer will be used to study radio bursts and astronomical phenomena. At the Inter-University Accelerator Center in Delhi, the Param Rudra supercomputer will be used to conduct advanced research in the fields of science and nuclear physics, and at the SN Bose Center in Kolkata, the Param Rudra supercomputer will be used to conduct advanced research . Fields like physics, cosmology and earth science.

Meteorology: Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the High Performance Computing (HPC) system for meteorology and climate research through video yesterday. The HBC system has been installed at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) in Pune and the National Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRRWF) in Noida. The new HBC systems, named 'Arka' and 'Arunika', can accurately predict critical weather events such as tropical cyclone, heavy rainfall, storm, hailstorm, heat wave and drought.
