Park Shin Hye’s The Judge from Hell thrives as the top drama on weekend ratings; Black Out etches high

The Judge from Hell, starring Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young, is now the top-ranked fantasy drama on Friday and Saturday drama ratings. However, Black Out, a K-drama about a crime thriller starring Byun Yo Han, also received its highest-ever rating.

The Judge from Hell, a fantasy romance and action K-drama starring Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young, debuted last week and continued to hold the top spot in its second week of sales, according to information released on September 29, 2024. After averaging an 8 percent rating across the country for its third episode, it became the most watched drama on Friday and Saturday of the week.

With its highest rating to date, the drama fourth episode received 9.7%. The Judge from Hell is a fantasy action and legal drama that tells the tale of a demon that inhabits the body of Kang Bit Na (Park Shin Hye), a human judge, after she is sentenced to ten horrific crimes in hell. On her journey, she encounters Kim Jae Young’s Han Da On, a charming and law-abiding investigator with a troubled history.

However, Black Out, the mystery criminal thriller K-drama starring Byun Yo Han, scored the highest rating of its whole run. The drama is about to enter its last few episodes. Even with The Judge from Hell providing fierce opposition, Black Out managed a 7.9 percent national rating.
