Passenger from Sharjah arrested at IGI Airport, caught with fake passport

Two people have been arrested for defrauding Indians by giving them passports at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Officials have said that the accused have been identified as Mohammad Nasir, resident of Bijnor, and Javed Ahmed, resident of Jamianagar.

The passenger had come from Jordan via Sharjah

Officials said that at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, a passenger had come from Jordan via Sharjah and when his passport was checked, it was found that it had been used by someone else. During interrogation, the letter told him that the agent had got this passport and after going abroad, his passport was taken away.

Same passport was being used for movement of many people

The officials found in their investigation that his passport was being used by multiple people. Information about the incident was received, investigation of the accused was started and they were arrested.
