PM Modi completes 12 years: From free ration to 164 Vande Bharat… PM enumerates those 9 decisions of the government which shook the world

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the countrymen on the very special and historic occasion of completion of 12 years of his government at the Centre. He said with great pride that the last 12 years have been completely dedicated to the faith, development and public welfare of the country. With the unwavering blessings of 140 crore countrymen and the basic spirit of ‘Nation First’, the government has worked continuously day and night for the empowerment of the youth, women, farmers and poor of the country, as a happy result of which today India has created a new and very strong identity for itself on the global stage.

In an emotional post on the social media platform ‘X’ (earlier Twitter), Prime Minister Modi wrote that the last 12 years of our government have been dedicated to trust, development and public welfare. With the blessings of 140 crore countrymen and the spirit of ‘Nation First’, we have left no stone unturned in empowering our youth, women and farmer brothers and sisters. To fulfill the resolve of a developed India, we will continue to move ahead on this path of service, good governance and prosperity.

Top priority given to poor welfare, everything from ration to housing is free

The Prime Minister addressed nine key areas; Poor Welfare, Women Power, Nation Building, Youth Power, Health, Nation First, Farmer Welfare, Middle Class and Heritage and Development; Through this, the major achievements of the government were highlighted. He said that giving top priority to public welfare in the country, free ration is being provided to more than 81 crore people every month so that no one sleeps hungry. Apart from this, more than 4 crore families have been given permanent houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala gas connections have been given to more than 10.5 crore women and the construction of 12 crore toilets across the country has made the life of crores of families very easy and safe.

Women empowerment changed the face of the country, crores of women became ‘Lakhpati Didi’

Describing women empowerment as the biggest and historic achievement of his government, PM Modi said that Jan Dhan accounts of more than 32 crore women have been opened in the country, due to which they are directly connected to the banking system. Not only this, our brave women have got a big opportunity of permanent commission in the army. Due to the efforts of the government, today more than 3 crore women of the country have proudly become ‘Lakhpati Didi’. At the same time, through more than 91 lakh self-help groups, 10 crore rural women have become completely economically self-reliant and empowered.

New history created in nation building, Vande Bharat and a flurry of airports

In the field of nation building, the government described the development of infrastructure as historic and unprecedented. Today, an excellent metro network of more than 1,100 kilometers has been developed in 26 major cities of the country. Along with this, 164 Vande Bharat trains, which are making the country proud, are running at full speed on the tracks. Big and mega projects like Atal Setu, Sudarshan Setu, Chenab Railway Bridge, Bogibeel Bridge and Pamban Sea Bridge, which showcased the country’s architecture and engineering, were also constructed during this glorious period. In terms of connectivity, the number of airports in the country has increased from 74 to 164 now.

Youth power got skill and speed, flood of startups came.

To shape the future of the youth of the country, about two crore people have been given excellent skill training in different fields. Apart from this, bumper loans worth more than Rs 40 lakh crore have been distributed under the Mudra scheme to promote self-employment. Today, more than 2.2 lakh startups in the country and more than 10 thousand Atal Tinkering Labs established in schools and colleges are giving a new direction to innovation and creativity among the youth of the country.

Protective shield made in the field of health, the elderly got a big gift

Talking about the health sector, under the world’s largest health protection scheme Ayushman Bharat, more than 60 crore people of the country have been provided a strong shield of free health protection. Taking another big humanitarian decision, the government has also started providing the benefit of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh to all the elderly above 70 years of age. Along with this, very cheap and high quality medicines are being made easily available to the general public through more than 19 thousand Jan Aushadhi Centers opened in every corner of the country.

Apart from all this, the Prime Minister also included farmer welfare, national security, huge tax relief to the middle class and conservation of India’s ancient cultural heritage among the major achievements of his government. He proudly said that the historic works like construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mahakal Mahalok and redevelopment of Kedarnath Dham are the most beautiful symbol of the unmatched coordination of cultural heritage and modern development of today’s changing India.
