Pregnant But Fasting ? Know How you Should Take Care of yourself


Chaitra Navaratri has started and there is an atmosphere of devotion of mata all around. If pregnant woman wants to keep fast during Navratri then she needs to take utmost care. During the fast, it affects not only the mother but also the children. If the pregnant woman does not keep fast in the first trimester, it would be good because if you are hungry for a long time, there may be a problem of nausea and vomiting. Also, there may be a risk of dizziness with fasting in the third quarter. If a pregnant woman has any other infection, she should not fast. During the fast, pay attention to the movement of the fetus in the womb and if there are some problems, seek medical advice immediately. A fully healthy pregnant woman should keep the fast of Navratri.

During pregnancy, the body of a woman wants complete nutrition and in such a situation she needs a balanced diet. More fried  things should not be consumed. During the fast, the pregnant woman should consume some nutritious things (fruits, milk and dry fruits) every two hours. Also, consume maximum water and coconut water. It is advisable that a pregnant woman should also consult a doctor before fasting.
