Prithvi Shaw told that this incident happened during a match against England. Shaw was not part of the playing eleven in that match. He said, “I was in the dressing room. Was standing with Ashwin bhaiya and Mohammed Shami. At the same time Virat bhaiya came into the washroom and stared at me and asked what I was doing here. He said, 'Do you know that the wicket has fallen?' And asked me to go and check.”
Shaw said, “We were in the dressing room and the noise from the field did not reach there. Virat bhaiya pretended that a match was going on and I immediately ran towards the field. But when I reached the ground, there was no one there. Then Virat bhaiya jokingly said, 'Don't you know that lunch break is going on?'”
This funny incident shows that pranks of senior players also play an important role in keeping the atmosphere of the team light-hearted. At the same time, players like Virat Kohli impress everyone with their style not only on the field but also in the dressing room.
