Noida. On the orders of the court, the Surajpur police have registered a case against the property dealer for cheating and threatening to kill. The victim woman alleges that the property dealer promised to get a plot in Devla and grabbed Rs 25 lakh as earnest money.
Court advocate Rakesh Sharma told that the family members of Rashmi Bhati, a resident of Junpat village, had bought several plots from Prakash Nautiyal, a property dealer living in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Due to this, the property dealer was trusted.
Her husband was also tricked by the dealer to get a plot of 800 square yards in Devla, whose deal was fixed for 64 lakhs. Prakash took Rs 25 lakh as earnest money and did not get the plot registered even after a long time.
Meanwhile, he came to know that the plot shown to him by the property dealer belonged to the Greater Noida Authority. When he demanded his money back from the dealer, the accused threatened to kill him. He complained about this to the police, but there was no hearing. He was forced to knock on the door of the court.
