PS Plus Monthly Games for October Include WWE 2K24, Dead Space and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

The PlayStation giant has announced its monthly lineup of PlayStation Plus titles for the month of October. In this next month, these free titles on PS Plus are wrestling sim WWE 2K24, survival-horror shooter Dead Space, and visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! From October 1st, all subscribers of PS Plus tiers- Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium-will be able to access the three games.

The PlayStation parent unveiled its October PS Plus lineup during its State of Play broadcast on Tuesday. All three titles can be added starting immediately by PlayStation Plus members to their game libraries through November 4 and continued to be played while having an active subscription to PS Plus.

Moreover, part of the package is accessible only until September 30-the free games of PS Plus for September. The list contains the following titles: Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares II. Here’s a peek at what’s coming next month for PS Plus’s monthly games lineup:

WWE 2K24

Not much to say about a WWE 2K game-newness is not really brought into the fray by it for fans of the long-running series know exactly what they’re getting. Visual Concepts’ latest wrestling title, out in March, offers marginal improvements over the predecessor: some refinements in gameplay, and now players have a “Super Finisher,” too, for a more hard-hitting finishing move.

WWE 2K24’s Showcase mode is built around 40 years of WrestleMania, so you can relive some of the greatest competition moments. You can play the landmark matches of WWE legends like Undertaker or Andre the Giant, and then you can fight as modern superstars, such as Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. It will be available on PS4 and PS5.

Dead Space

The 2023 re-imagining of the classic Dead Space will be landing on PS Plus in May of next year. It’s a survival horror experience, through and through, wherein the players are in charge of an engineer, Isaac Clarke, who was on the mining ship USG Ishimura when it was overtaken by the gruesome monsters, Necromorphs, and must be sent to find out what happened on the ship and any survivors, in the company of an engineering tool selection that can deal with the Necromorphs he encounters.

This remake, from Motive, rebuilds the original game from the ground up, bringing graphical fidelity to modern standards. The remake will be available for the PS5.
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

Doki Doki Literature Club! includes a Plus! version, set to launch on PS Plus in April. The game is a visual novel with very limited gameplay, and thus its story surrounds a high school student who goes to the literature club of the school. The plot begins as such with sub-romantic plots with other characters from the game, and the player’s choice determines how the story goes along and what way every relationship develops.

The game will contain the bonus side stories, the soundtrack, and much more. A version for PS4 and later on PS5 will be offered.

All of these titles can be enjoyed without spending any extra dollar if a customer is a PS Plus subscriber. It was also announced, lastly, by Sony what other titles will join the PS Plus Game Catalog in September. That includes The Plucky Squire, Night in the Woods, Chernobylite, and more.

There’s more in store for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier subscribers. At State of Play, Sony announced that The Last of Us Part I, the remake of the original game, will join PS Plus Game Catalog on September 26 — i.e. today.
