If you look at the financial data of the company, you will know that the company has earned huge income from popcorn and Pepsi. Sales of PVR's food and beverages business have increased by 21 percent in the financial year 2023-24. Whereas in the same financial year, the company's movie ticket sales growth was only 19 percent.

In the same financial year, the revenue of the company's food and beverages business increased to Rs 1,958.40 crore, whereas in 2022-23 it was Rs 1,618 crore. In the same financial year, the company's revenue from movie tickets was Rs 3,279.90 crore, whereas in 2022-23, the company's revenue from movie tickets was Rs 2,751.40 crore. The company's revenue from movie tickets increased by 19 percent to Rs 3,915.5 crore in FY 2024, which was Rs 3,295.2 crore in FY 2023.

What is the reason for increase in revenue from food and beverages?
A major reason for the growth in the food and beverages business of PVR Inox is that the company has opened some of its outlets in metro and non-metro cities where you can eat and drink, for this you do not even need to watch a movie. Apart from this, the company has also started home delivery of food in some areas, due to which its earnings from food and beverages have increased.

The company signed an agreement with Devyani International

Apart from this, the company has also partnered with food chain Devyani International. The company also sells Devyani International's products like Pizza Hut, KFC, Costa Coffee at its outlets, from which it also earns commission.
