Raina wrote, ‘It is not at all that I played for so long in Team India because of Dhoni’s friendship. I was able to play in Team India only on the strength of my hard work and performance.

He wrote, ‘Dhoni knew how to get a better performance than me and I too had full faith in him. When people talk like that because of my friendship with Dhoni, I played in Team India, it hurts a lot. I have always worked hard to make my place in Team India. It is through hard work that I won Dhoni’s trust and respect.

Let us tell you that Raina played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20 International matches for India in his 13-year long international career. During this, he scored a total of 7988 runs, including 6 centuries. He scored centuries in all three formats of cricket.
