Rajasthan: 8 people died in a massive fire in an illegal firecracker warehouse in Jaipur.

Jaipur, June 9. Eight people, including a child, died tragically and some others sustained serious burn injuries in a massive fire that broke out in an illegal firecracker warehouse in the Khoh Nagoriyan area of ​​Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur on Tuesday morning.

After the information, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started efforts to control the fire. Preliminary investigation has revealed that firecrackers were being stored and manufactured illegally in the residential area. Police have started preparations for action against the warehouse operators and the landlord.

According to the information received, a fire broke out in a firecracker warehouse located in Ayesha Nagar Talai area of ​​Khoh Nagoriyan police station area at around 11 am. Due to the presence of explosive material, the fire took a huge form within a few minutes. Many people caught in the fire suffered serious burns. According to eyewitnesses, some people were seen suffering on the road after getting burnt in the fire, who were taken to the hospital with the help of local people and administration.

Police and district administration officials including Jaipur Collector Sandesh Nayak, Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal, Additional Police Commissioner Dr. Rajeev Pachar, DCP East Ranjita Sharma inspected the spot. Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal said that the workers were working in the firecracker warehouse. There is also a firecracker factory nearby, which is being investigated. Legal action will be taken in relation to the incident, the police will clarify the situation soon. First it was necessary to control the fire and treat the injured.
