Smartphone brand Realme will offer offers worth Rs 500 crore for the festive season sales in early October, which will be available on its official website www.realme.com and partner platform. This offer will be applicable to the company’s smartphones and AIOT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) products.
Madhav Sheth, Vice President CEO, Realme India, Europe, and Latin America said, “We will be offering our dear customers great deals and offers during the Realme Festive Days sale. According to a report by Counterpoint Research, Realme led the India market in 5G smartphone shipments and achieved over 22 percent share in the second quarter of 2021.
The company said its next target is to achieve the double 100 million target – shipping another 100 million handsets by the end of 2022 and meeting the same target within the 2023 calendar year. According to Counterpoint, Realme secured the 6th rank in the second quarter of 2021 with 15 million shipments and 135.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth. Out of 100 million realme users worldwide, 50 million users are from India alone.
Amid the shortage of chipsets, the company is targeting 6 million handsets and two million artificial intelligence of things products for the upcoming festive season.
Realme C25Y was recently launched
Expanding its entry-level C-series, smartphone brand Realme recently launched a new phone- C25Y, which comes with a 50MP AI-based triple camera setup, starting at Rs.10,999. Reality C25Y will be available in two storage variants. The price of 4 GB + 64 GB is Rs 10,999 and the price of 4 GB + 128 GB is Rs 11,999. It comes in two colors – Glacier Blue and Metal Grey. The first sale will come on September 27 on realme.com, Flipkart, and mainline channels.
As the first phone in the Realme C series to feature 50-megapixel mode, the Realme C25Y offers clear photo shooting, allowing users to capture large pixel images up to 8160 x 6144, the company said in a statement. The smartphone packs an 8 MP selfie camera with AI Beauty function, which makes it easy to shoot a stunning and satisfying selfie picture. The smartphone flaunts a 6.5-inch display with an 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio and is powered by a Unisoc T610 processor. The graphics are handled by ARM Mali G52 GPU with a clock speed of 614.4 MHz.
