The Sensex (BSE Sensex) today closed at the level of 52,773.05 with a gain of 221.52 points or 0.42 percent. Apart from this, the Nifty index (NSE nifty) closed at 15,869.25 with a strength of 57.40 points or 0.36 percent.

Asian Paints closed with a gain of 3.18 per cent. Apart from this, shares of Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HUL, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Nestle India, Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Reliance, Kotak Bank, M&M, HCL Tech and HDFC have seen great gains.
