In the 3rd and final T20 match of the series , Rishabh Pant hit an amazing inning of 65 runs from 42 balls.
During this inning, Pant broke a record of Dhoni. MS Dhoni previously held the record of highest score by an Indian wicket-keeper in a T20 match. Dhoni had the record at 56 runs that he had hit against England in Bangalore.
Rishabh Pant now holds the record with 65 runs.
Rishabh Pant made a partnership of 106 runs with Virat Kohli to lead India to victory in the 3rd T20 International and whitewash West Indies in the series.
This record very early in his career will help him as he will boost with confidence in the matches to come.
After scoring not so good runs in the first 2 matches, Pant came back strong in the 3rd T20.
But this does not ensure him of no. 4 position in the ODIs , as he will face tough competition in the form of KL Rahul.
Surely, Rishabh Pant is going to be a prime player for the Indian team.
