Rohit Sharma wins toss, India opt to bowl in second Test against Bangladesh

India National Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur. “The conditions are overcast, and there is a bit of softness in the track due to rain. The pitch is looking different in Kanpur as it has a grass cover, and we want our bowlers to have a go at first. We were tested in the last game, and it is important to start on a positive note. We are going in with the same team,” Rohit Sharma said.

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto wanted to bat first. “We got what we wanted as we would have batted first. We bowled well in the first innings of the previous game but then conceded a lot of runs. Even the batters were not up to the mark. The pitch in Kanpur is looking good,” he said.
