Former Indian actress Sana Khan said that Junaid Jamshed was the cause behind her decision to marry Mufti Anas and that she left the entertainment business for religious grounds.

Sana rose to prominence as a competitor on Season 6 of Bigg Boss before quitting the entertainment industry entirely in 2020 to follow a path of faith.

During an interview with Rubina Dilaik, Sana talked candidly about her own experience and the important elements that affected her decision to get married.

Sana revealed that the late Junaid Jamshed was a close friend of her husband, Mufti Anas, a bond that touched her to the core.

She recounted how Mufti Anas had prayed to Allah once for Junaid, requesting that He be granted Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgiveness, and illumination of his burial.

Sana wondered if her own friends would offer a similar prayer for her after her death in response to this prayer.

Sana had a strong yearning for greater religious relationships in her life after realizing that the majority of her friends had a spiritual bent.

She disclosed that day as the moment she realized she needed someone to take care of her in the afterlife and was drawn to Mufti Anas.

Junaid Jamshed, a formerly popular singer, left the music industry to focus on his religious duties, becoming a prominent figure in Islamic preaching.
