Saurashtra – Gujrat for third consecutive day Mawtha, hailstorm in many areas, mini storm in Bhavnagar

Unseasonal rain and hail also fell in many areas of the state today for the third consecutive day. After afternoon, the weather suddenly changed and there was unseasonal rain in areas including Bhavnagar, Banaskantha, Valsad, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad.

Today from 6 am to 8 pm, 53 talukas of the state have received 2 mm to 47 mm of unseasonal rain and the farmers are worried because of the forecast of rainfall for the next two days.

Talking about Saurashtra, there has been unseasonal rain with heavy winds in rural areas of Bhavnagar district. Rainy conditions were seen in some villages amid intense heat. Farmers facing the storm are fearing crop failure. There has been rain along with hail in Trambak village of Bhavnagar.

47 mm of unseasonal rain in Bhuj has left the farmers in dire straits as their crops fail. It has rained in areas including Theravada of Bhuj, Ustiya of Abdasa. There are reports of rain with hail in Gagodar area.

Apart from this, there was unseasonal rain in Lalpur taluka of Jamnagar. In Bhatt of Khambhalia in Dwarka district, there was unseasonal rain with hail. Garhka and Patelka villages of Kalyanpur also received rain. is frozen
