State Bank of India has advised its customers to link their PAN and Aadhaar by the end of June. If they do not do this, then they may face problems in the transaction from the account.

While issuing an advisory to its customers through a tweet, State Bank of India has said that it is mandatory to link PAN and Aadhaar.
According to SBI, if you do not link PAN and Aadhaar, then your PAN will be declared inactive.
Once PAN is declared inactive, you will not be able to do any transaction for which PAN is required.
The last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar is June 30. State Bank has advised that to avoid any inconvenience, customers should link PAN with Aadhaar in time.
Penalty will be imposed for not linking PAN Aadhar
According to the proposal of the government, if a person does not link PAN and Aadhaar by the last date, then he will be fined Rs 1000. The government has extended the linking deadline from March 31 to June 30. Along with this, the government has indicated that this deadline will not be extended any longer. Instead, a fine will be imposed for not following the rule.

First of all go to the website of Income Tax Department https://www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home. After this you will see the option of Link Aadhar on the left side. On clicking this link a new page will open where link will be the option of Aadhaar.
On this page you will get the option of Click Here at the top. After this, you will be asked your PAN number and Aadhaar number. After this you do not have to click on the View Link Aadhar Status button.
After this, if your PAN card has been linked with your Aadhar card, then the message ‘Your pan is linked to aadhar number XXXXXXXX134’ will be received with a green tick. In this way you can easily know whether your PAN card is linked with Aadhaar or not.
