The fate of Laborer Pratibha Mandal, who lives in West Bengal, has shone overnight. A laborer living in Kerala has won Rs 80 lakh by purchasing a lottery ticket for just Rs 40 in the weekly lottery to be drawn by the Kerala government. Let me tell you that Pratibha is a migrant laborer who has come from West Bengal to do Kerala wages. Here he became the winner of a lottery purchased for 40 rupees. Pratibha Mandal was happy and scared after winning the money.
Talking to the media after winning 80 lakh rupees, the laborer said that after winning so much money he was happy and also feared. Pratibha told that she is afraid of where and how to go with so much money. Pratibha Mandal did not even have a bank account in which she could keep 80 lakh rupees.
The laborer said that after the announcement of winning 80 lakh rupees, he was happy as well as a little apprehensive about keeping the money. But, without delay, he reached the Poojapura police station in Thiruvananthapuram with an auto-rickshaw.
Apart from Pratibha Mandal in Karunya Plus lottery, prizes were also given to two other people. Workers demanded protection in the police station. Later, with the help of the police, the laborer opened an account at Canara Bank and kept his money in the bank locker here. Please tell that Pratibha Mandal was given 80 lakh rupees as the first prize in Karunya Plus Lottery. Apart from this, a consolation prize of Rs 10 lakh was given to the second winner and Rs 8000 to the third winner.
