For the first time in government upper primary schools of Uttar Pradesh, run under the UP Basic Education Council, students will study about Gods and Goddesses, great men and freedom fighters of Sindhi society. The process of including these chapters will start from this academic session (2023-24).
According to officials, subjects based on such gods and great men have been added to the textbooks of classes 6 and 8 in over 40,000 government upper primary schools in 75 districts of the state.
Deepti Mishra, Assistant Director of Education and Coordinator of Comprehensive Education at State Institute of Education, Prayagraj, said that in order to give maximum information about the personality, a QR code has been given in each lesson, which can be scanned with a mobile phone. .
