Somy Ali lashes at Sonu Nigam for using her show to settle scores with ex-boyfriend Salman Khan: ‘He is a Chameleon’

Actor Somy Ali, who was in a relationship with Bollywood’s Bhai, Salman Khan, has accused singer Sonu Nigam of using her talk show to get back at her former boyfriend. In her Instagram stories, Somy shared a lengthy video, stating that sometime after the show, when she wanted to offer Sonu Nigam a work opportunity in London, he ignored her. Although Somy did not mention Sonu by name in the video, she did include his name in the caption.

In her video, Somy Ali said, “A couple of years ago, I started a talk show. I interviewed a few people; I won’t name them. But one of the people on that show spoke very intellectually and shared a lot of wisdom. I was literally bewildered and in awe of everything he was saying. I genuinely believed he was someone who stood by what he preached. Of course, later, I realized that when I tried to reach out to him for his benefit, offering him a project in London, he completely dismissed my texts and WhatsApp messages.”

She further alleged that Nigam only appeared on her show to get back at her ex-boyfriend. She said, “I realized the only reason he came on the show was to prove to that gentleman, ‘Look, I’m on your ex’s show.’ Once that chapter closed, when I tried to offer him an opportunity, he refused to communicate with me. I tried three times, and I wasn’t gaining anything out of it. I even left voice notes in Hindi, Urdu, English—every language I know—but this person refused to respond.”

Somy Ali Called Sonu Nigam a Chameleon

In her video, Somy lashed out at Sonu Nigam, calling him a chameleon. She shared how she felt duped by him. She added, “The person you used to respect and honour, the one you placed on a pedestal, thinking they are a good person because of the nice things they said in the interview, suddenly turns out to be a chameleon who changes colours completely.”
