Canberra. Former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds is no more with us. Died in a car accident in North Queensland, Australia. He was 46 years old. Police said former all-rounder Symonds’ car crashed outside Townsville on Saturday night, killing him.

Police said Symonds, 46, was driving after 11 p.m. on Hervey Range Road near the Ellis River Bridge. During this his car crashed. Emergency service personnel tried to save him, but without success and died on the spot. Symonds played 26 Tests for Australia and was part of the Australian team that won two Cricket World Cups.
