Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared a video of himself drinking coffee while promoting the Bharat GI initiative in a reel on Instagram, in which he is also seen buying GI coffee from different places and making UPI payment. While sharing the video, the Union Minister wrote in the caption that India is GI, UPI and AI.
DPIIT has launched this coffee
This GI initiative (Bharat GI) has been launched under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and is positioned as A World Exclusive. The objective of which is to give international recognition and premium marketing to GI-tagged products.
Sundar Pichai also drank coffee
on thursday Sundar Pichai Tasted Indian GI Coffee at the India GI Coffee Lounge during the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Pichai gave a Wow reaction after one sip and appreciated it. His reaction has also gone viral on social media. On which Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal shared a video on X and wrote that when Sundar Pichai comes to take a sip, you can understand that this coffee is really special.
