The General Directorate of Intelligence of Afghanistan has arrested two government officials in connection with the blast inside the Refugee Ministry after preliminary investigation. In this blast, three people including Refugee Minister Haji Khalil ur Rehman Haqqani were killed, while many people were injured. During the investigation of the case, it was revealed that the suicide bomber had come inside in a Taliban Home Ministry vehicle.

At the same time it was being said that terrorists had infiltrated into the ministry in this matter. Taking the matter seriously, the Taliban administration had also decided to form a commission in this regard whose job was to detect infiltration of terrorists among government employees. Afghanistan's General Directorate of Intelligence has arrested two officers in this case and started interrogation.

On the other hand, the terrorist organization Islamic State Khorasan Province, which has taken responsibility for this attack, has released a new threatening poster. In this poster, making fun of Taliban, it was said that you said that ISIS and Islamic State Mujahideen do not exist in Afghanistan. So, we killed your minister by entering your ministry in the middle of Kabul. We will continue our attacks on the leaders of the Taliban. The attacks to come will be even worse.
