In the information revealed in the research, a malware dropper has been mentioned, which has been dubbed as Clast 82, which was spreading through 8 apps. It has been known about the dropper that the malware being spread through it financially harms people.
This dropper is also able to escape the grip of Google Play Protect. As soon as the user installs Alienbot Banker in the phone, which is a malware variant. Through this, there is a lot of damage to the phone and data. This dropper also installs the Clast82 MRAT in the phone, which is a program that gives remote access to your mobile device to a third party.
Banking apps present in your phone can be easily hijacked through these apps. If you want to get rid of these apps, then go to the settings for this and then go down in the application and scroll down, of which the app is to be removed, tap on it and uninstall it. Apart from this, change the password associated with your banking app and bank account as well.
