New Delhi, The budget session of Parliament will start from 29 January. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget in the Parliament on February 1 during the session.

The session will be conducted in two parts. The first part of the session will be held from 29 January to 15 February and the second part from 8 March to 8 April.

There will be 35 seats in the fifth session of the 17th Lok Sabha, which are set at 11 in the first part and 24 in the second part.

President Ram Nath Kovind will address both the Houses of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha at 11 am on January 29.

Sitharaman will present the Union Budget on February 1 at 11 am.

The first phase of the session will be postponed to February 15 and the second phase will begin from March 8 to facilitate the Parliamentary Standing Committee to consider the demands for grants from various ministries / departments.
