Meanwhile, there is a buffer zone of Pench National Park, in which many animals used to become victims of road accidents, after which this highway was built from Mohgaon in Seoni district to Khawasa border.

Care has been taken for the convenience of wild life. 14 underpasses have been made in this 29 kilometer sound proof highway, through which wild animals can easily come and vehicles can move fast without any fear. . The company that built the National Highway had given a guarantee for it for 4 years, but the 4 years have not even ended and now patch work has started on a large scale here.

This highway passes through the buffer zone of Pench. Why was this highway discussed in the country? The most special thing about this part of the highway is that 14 underpasses of 3145 meters length have been built between Mohgaon and Khawasa, which will provide access to the Pench Tiger Reserve. Wild animals can move around easily. To ensure that the wildlife is not disturbed by the sound and lights of vehicles running on the highway, a 4 meter high steel wall has been built on both sides of the highway by installing green colored sound barriers and headlight reducers. In such a situation, when the galloping vehicles run through this part of the National Highway, talking to the air, their sound and light do not reach the wild animals below.
