He came to know that the entire building in which he had purchased the 34th floor was actually built with only 32 storeys. That means the floor on which his flat was, was missing in the air.

According to a latest report by Hong Kong’s famous newspaper ‘South China Morning Post’, this shocking case is from a developed village located near Xi’an city of Shaanxi province of China. Here a simple citizen named Shane has become the victim of this very vicious real estate fraud. According to the report, Shane had invested in this multi-storey residential project in 2013 after seeing an attractive advertisement of a big builder. He had purchased a large and beautiful 90 square meter apartment for his family on the alleged 34th floor of this building. For years the builder kept misleading them in the name of giving them possession and when after many years, Shane himself went to the spot and saw the reality, it was too late.

Money was lost and the dream of owning a house was shattered, fraudulent builders turned out to be experts in cheating.

Shane, the victim of this shocking property scam, told the media that for years he was under the illusion that his flat was getting ready. He also continued to pay the EMI of the bank and as per the demand of the builder. The builders had prepared the map and agreement of the 34th floor on paper and handed it over to Shane, so that no one could have any doubt on them. But the reality was that that apartment could never have come into existence, because the construction of the tower was stopped forever at the 32nd floor. Due to this terrible fraud, Shane has lost his life’s hard-earned money and his beautiful dream of living in his own house has also been shattered forever. Chinese authorities are now investigating this matter, but this incident has given a big lesson to home buyers all over the world to check the reality of the project.
