The Corona epidemic has wreaked havoc all over the world including India. Millions of people died from this disease. At the same time, the head of World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has warned that the world must prepare for the next pandemic, which could be more deadly than the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to information received from media reports, the head of WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom said that the world should be prepared for a virus that is more deadly than Covid. He said that at least 20 million people have died due to Corona. However, the World Health Organization has recently declared that the Covid-19 pandemic is no longer a health emergency.
WHO chief warned
Tedros told a health meeting in Geneva, Switzerland that it was time to talk to prevent the next pandemic. The head of WHO warned that the Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet. He said there is a danger of it emerging in another form that will cause illness and death.
The world was not ready for Corona
WHO has identified nine primary diseases that pose the greatest threat to public health. According to media reports, they are considered the most dangerous due to lack of treatment or their ability to spread disease. The Mirror quoted the WHO chief as saying that the world is not prepared for the Covid-19 pandemic, the worst health crisis of the century.
20 million people died
In the last three years, about 7 million people have died from Covid-19, but we know the figure is at least 20 million. The WHO chief said that if we don’t make the changes that need to be made, who will? And if you haven’t acted on it now, when will you?
How dangerous is the little virus?
He said that while the next pandemic is knocking and it is known when it will come, we must be ready to respond decisively, collectively and equally. Dr. Tedros said the generation has a commitment not to compromise with the pandemic, because those people have experienced how terrible a small virus can be.
