Bhopal, 01 March (Hindustan Times). Today (Wednesday) is the third day of the budget session of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Tezzbuzz. Finance Minister Jagdish Deora will present the state budget for the financial year -2023-24 today. The state government has made preparations to present the first digital i.e. paperless budget in the assembly. This time’s budget can be more than three lakh crore rupees.

It is noteworthy that assembly elections are to be held in Tezzbuzz in November-December this year. This is the last budget of the third term of the Shivraj government. So it is likely to be populist. Finance Minister Jagdish Deora will present the paperless budget in the House at 11.00 am. This will be the first e-Budget. Tablets will be given to all MLAs to read the budget. However, the opposition has also objected to this move of the government. He says that before starting this innovation, the government should have given training to all the legislators.

Earlier in the year 2021 also, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora had read the budget speech from the tablet itself. It is being said that compared to last year, this time the government can increase the budget by 50 thousand crores. This time the government can present a budget of three and a half lakh crore rupees. Farmers, youth and women can get a major part of this. By announcing the Ladli Bahna Yojana, the Shivraj government has given open indications of it.

Chief Minister Chouhan will start this ambitious scheme on his birthday on March 5. In this, one thousand rupees will be given every month to the women of families with income group of less than two and a half lakh rupees. This amount will be deposited in the bank accounts of eligible women from the month of June. The scheme will cost an estimated Rs 60,000 crore over five years. In such a situation, it is clear that a large part of the budget 2023 will be dedicated to women. Similarly, new schemes can also be announced for farmers and youth.

Relief expected in stamp duty

At the same time, the highest tax is levied on petrol and diesel in Tezzbuzz. Stamp duty also has to be paid more here than in other states. If the government reduces its share of tax on petroleum products, it can be a matter of relief for the public. Government employees are also eyeing the budget. What comes out of the Finance Minister’s box for them, it will be a matter to be seen.
