The public lighting system of the entire Municipal Corporation area will be dazzling with good milky light: Garima Sikariya

Mayor Garima Devi Sikariya said that on the basis of total five proposals passed by the board, the public lighting system in the entire municipal corporation area will be made dazzling with milky light. Mayor Garima Sikariya said that the Municipal Corporation Board has passed a proposal to revive 1,500 street lights which were installed and lying damaged about a decade ago in various wards of the Municipal Corporation area. About 1,500 street lights installed on iron poles will be revived by replacing their faulty lights.

Mayor Garima Sikariya said that apart from this, about a decade ago, 600 new lights of 150 watt capacity were purchased for the high mask light posts of various wards and a proposal to make the high mask lights which had been damaged over the years to give milky light again has been passed by the Municipal Corporation Board. Mayor Sikariya said that 635 of the street lights already installed by the Municipal Corporation administration in various wards have become completely damaged. These will also be revived by installing 635 new street lights of 90 watts in their place.

Mayor Garima Devi Sikariya said that apart from this, the process of issuing tender will be started by the Municipal Corporation Administration on the basis of the passed proposals for installing high power high mark lights, a total of 100 high mask lights and 100 high power flood lights of 150 watt capacity on high mast poles of 16 meter height in each ward. Mayor Mrs. Sikariya said that apart from this, a total of 5000 high power lights with 90 watt capacity will be installed for the newly acquired area. Street lights will be purchased and installed. Its proposal has also been passed by the Municipal Corporation Board in the last few months.
