Ahmadnagar News : In the recently held Lok Sabha elections, BJP has lost ground in both constituencies of Nagar district. NCP’s (Sharad Chandra Pawar group) candidate Nilesh Lanka has won in Nagar Lok Sabha constituency, while Bhausaheb Vakchoure has won in Shirdi Lok Sabha constituency (Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray group).

Meanwhile, the total campaign expenditure of the candidates in this election has now been announced. In the Nagar Lok Sabha constituency, 25 candidates were in the fray. All these candidates have submitted election expenses.

Expenditure limit for Lok Sabha elections was 95 lakhs. Election expenses include campaign expenses between the filing of applications and the election results. A team headed by Chief Accounts Finance Officer of Zilla Parishad Shailesh More was formed in the city constituency to verify this.

The candidates submitted the expenses to this team. The expenditure has been determined by comparing the expenditure submitted by the candidates and the verification done by the election system. Notices were sent to the candidates in case of discrepancy. But no candidate has challenged these notices.

Accordingly, the highest expenditure in the city constituency, the defeated candidate of the BJP in the grand coalition, Dr. Sujay Vikhe got 83 lakh 49 thousand 227 rupees while Nilesh Lanka, the winning candidate of Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Chandra Pawar group) in Mahavikas Aghadi got 65 lakh 45 thousand 268 rupees. So much cost is presented.

Dilip Khedkar, the candidate of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, has shown the third highest expenditure. He has submitted a total expenditure of 12 lakh 74 thousand 524 rupees. The election inspector Shakti Singh and the election decision officer and collector Siddharam Salimath have sealed and submitted this to the election commission.
