At the same time, the Delhi Police said that Swati Maliwal was dragged for 10-15 meters by the car in front of AIIMS Gate 2 at around 3.11 am on Thursday when she was trying to catch the driver. Police said that the accused Harish Chandra had asked Swati Maliwal to sit in the car. Swati denied and in an attempt to hold the accused, he extended his hand towards the driver’s seat, then the accused suddenly raised the glass window and Swati’s hand got stuck in it.

According to DCP Chandan Singh of South District, ‘Today a call was received at Hauz Khas police station, a car owner made wrong gestures to a woman and dragged her for 10-15 meters. With the help of Garuna van, the police caught the accused.

The age of the accused is 47 years and he had consumed alcohol. The name of the woman is Swati Maliwal. FIR has been registered. This incident happened when Swati Maliwal was standing on the footpath with her team at the same place.
