To become a career counselor, the applicant must have MA Psychology and Diploma in Career Counselling. The main work of these counselors will be to provide guidance to the students of government and aided secondary schools. They will not only provide information about career options but will also provide support to the students to deal with psychological problems and stress. Along with this, it will also be their responsibility to help in teacher training, school inspection and career planning.

Special session for students

Weekly special sessions will be organized listing all the government secondary schools in each block. In these sessions, students will be able to get information about career options, higher education and professional courses. Experts from different fields will also be called from time to time so that the students can get correct and practical guidance.

Lifestyle and routine guidance

Career counselors will not be limited to just career options. They will also tell students how to manage stress, incorporate yoga, sports, music and other creative activities into their daily routine. It will also be ensured that students can prepare for their career while maintaining health and mental balance.

This initiative is important for students because youth often come under stress and pressure in the race for studies and career. Many times, due to lack of proper guidance, they take wrong decisions. With the appointment of these counselors, this deficiency will be filled and students will be able to take the right decisions at the right time.
