RCB has a unique player in the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore, who has scored only 15 runs in 70 years playing 6 matches. This player is none other than veteran spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal has been playing in the IPL since 2013 but only got a chance to bat 8 times. During this time he scored a total of 15 runs for his team. Chahal comes down to bat at number 10, number 11. Due to the strong batting order of RCB, Chahal does not get a chance to bat. He is a bowler anyway and his job is to take wickets and not to score runs. Chahal got a chance to play just 1 match in 2013 but has remained an integral part of the RCB team since 2014. He did not bat in a single match in the 2013 and 2016 IPL.
Look here for new government jobs:
In 2014 and 2015, he went on to bat in 2–2 matches, scoring only 1–1 runs in both seasons. In 2017, Chahal got the chance to bat 3 times and made 13 runs, taking advantage of these opportunities. In 2018 too, he came out to bat once but in this match he could not even open the account. He has scored 13 out of 15 runs in 2017 only. If left out this season, he has made only 2 runs in 5 seasons. In other words, he has scored only 2 runs in 67 matches. Probably he will be the first player of the IPL to do this Thing
tremendous records in bowling:
even though Chahal may not have got much opportunities to bat, but as a bowler he has been very successful in the IPL. He has taken 82 wickets for 1932 runs in 70 matches for RCB. His economy rate is also 7.77.
Chahal has also shown great batting in ODI cricket:
India suffered a humiliating defeat in the fourth ODI played between Team India and New Zealand in Hamilton but in this match Yuzvendra Chahal batted tremendously. On the pitch where legendary batsmen like Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan returned to the pavilion one after the other, Chahal spent around 42 minutes and scored 18 not out, playing 37 balls. During this, he also hit 3 fours.
