The Hemant Government has made alternative arrangements in the form of Sanjeevani vehicles to avoid deaths due to delay or stoppage of supply of oxygen in hospitals. These vehicles will remain in alert mode all the time, 24 hours a day. The oxygen cylinder will be transported immediately from where the information will be received. These vehicles have been equipped with GPS for better monitoring. Any hospital from which the information will be reduced or the oxygen will be released, the vehicle already prepared will be dispatched there. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren flagged off three such vehicles for Ranchi. He said that Sanjeevani vehicles will soon start working for Jamshedpur and Dhanbad, which have more cases of infection.
Sanjeevani vehicle will be used by Ranchi district administration for uninterrupted supply of oxygen in hospitals in the district. The hospitals will be supplied on time as per the requirement and the Oxygen Refilling Cell will continue to work day and night. It is also monitoring the supply of oxygen.
On this occasion, he said that currently oxygen and ventilator are most needed. Keeping this in mind, the government is providing beds with free oxygen to hospitals in Ranchi and Jamshedpur through hospitals of Kovid circuit in its adjoining districts.
