Explain that the fourth letter gives the card holder information. If P is printed in someone’s card, then it means that the PAN number is personal i.e. a person. F means firm while C means company. After this, if A is printed in someone’s card, then it means Association of Person. T, Trust then B shows the body of individual. The same shows the government from G and the artificial judicial person from J and the local from L. The fifth letter of the PAN card is also important, which is the first letter of the card holder’s surname.
