‘Today is not the day of ‘Babri’ but of ‘Barabari’…’ Shahnawaz Hussain reacted on Murshidabad Masjid controversy

Babri Masjid-style mosque in West Bengal: Suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir has laid the foundation stone of ‘Babri Masjid-style’ mosque in Murshidabad, West Bengal. Due to which now the politics of the country has started heating up. Meanwhile, the reaction of senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain has come to light. He said that today is not the day of ‘Babri’ but of ‘Equality’.

In fact, on one hand December 6 is being celebrated as the death anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar as Mahaparinirvan Diwas, while on the other hand today is also the anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid. Keeping this occasion in mind, Humayun Kabir had announced to lay the foundation of ‘Babri Masjid-style’ mosque. To which BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said, “Today is 6th December, the death anniversary of Babasaheb. Today everyone is paying tribute to him, who gave India its Constitution. Today is not the day of ‘Babri’ but the day of ‘Equality’.”

Earlier, UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya’s big statement on laying the foundation of ‘Babri Masjid-style’ mosque in Murshidabad came out. He has said that if TMC places even a single brick in the name of Babar, BJP will come to power there and that brick will be uprooted and thrown away.
