Toll Tax: Traveling on Yamuna Expressway has become expensive from October 1, now you will have to pay this much toll tax.

Greater Noida. Traveling on Yamuna Expressway will become expensive from October 1. In the board meeting of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) held on Thursday, approval was given to increase the toll rates by 3.78 percent.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Arunveer Singh said that the toll rates of Yamuna Expressway are being increased after the year 2021-22. Jaypee Infratech, the company that maintains the expressway, had already demanded to increase the rates, but no change was made in it for 3 years. Only the rates proposed by the company for 2022-23 are being implemented now. From Greno to Agra, two wheeler drivers will now have to pay Rs 247.5 and vehicles like car-jeep will have to pay Rs 486.75. About 35,000 vehicles pass through Yamuna Expressway every day. Whereas on weekends this number reaches 50,000.
