Tunisia, Egypt sign agreements to strengthen cooperation


TunisTunisia and Egypt signed a number of agreements on Friday to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The Tunisia government issued this information by issuing a statement. These agreements were signed at a ceremony at the conclusion of the 17th session of the Egyptian-Tunisian Joint High Committee. Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romdhan and Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbouli were present during this.

The agreements aim to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries in the fields of international cooperation, markets, exports and agriculture.

These agreements cover the areas of higher education, scientific research, communication technology, information, meteorology, climate, housing and construction as well as exchange of information between financial authorities.

Leading a high-level delegation, the Egyptian prime minister arrived in Tunisia on Thursday for a two-day official visit.
