Famous sand sculptor Sudarshan Patnaik has paid tribute to Didi through his sand sculpture art. This time, Sudarshan Patnaik has created a Sand Sculpture on the Puri Niladri beach of Odisha.
Odisha: Today is the first death anniversary of Gankokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar (Lata Mangeshkar Death Anniversary). It has been one year today since Lata Didi passed away. But even today, Latadidi is with us in the form of his memories and his songs. Today, many have paid tribute to Latadidi on her memorial day. Famous sand sculptor Sudarshan Patnaik has paid tribute to Didi through his sand sculpture art. This time, Sudarshan Patnaik has created a Sand Sculpture on the Puri Niladri beach of Odisha. This sand sculpture shows Lata Mangeshkar’s face on a gramophone.
Sudarshan Patnaik created a sand sculpture and wrote on it, “Meri Awaaz Hi Vishna Hai, Tribute to Bharat Ratna Lataji”. According to ANI, Sudarshan Patnaik has created a 6 feet tall sculpture of Latadidi. Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6, 2022. He breathed his last at the age of 92 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Lata Mangeshkar’s memorial was laid today on her first death anniversary. This memorial will be erected in Haji Ali Chowk in Mumbai. Usha Mangeshkar, Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha and many people from the film industry attended the Bhoomipujan of the memorial.
Usha Mangeshkar said in the Bhumi Poojan program of this memorial, “I am very happy that Lata Didi’s memorial has been Bhumi Poojan. We request the state government to name the coastal road being built in Mumbai after Latadidi.”
