Rumors of an alleged marriage between senior PTI leader Hammad Azhar and well-known anchorperson Shifa Yousafzai are circulating.
These rumors started after a claim made by a prominent young journalist, but they gained momentum when the PTI leader responded to the journalist’s tweet.
However, now anchorperson Shifa Yousafzai has broken her silence and dismissed the rumors, calling them baseless and false.
According to the details, anchorperson Shifa Yousafzai issued a statement on the former Twitter, now X, saying: “Dear all, let me make it clear that I have not married anyone! However, the campaign being run against me on social media serves as a reminder — as it should for every hardworking woman — of how unsafe a woman is in a male-dominated society like Pakistan, where she constantly has to justify her existence! (By the way, this is not the first time I have been targeted in such a manner). I request social media platforms to remove this baseless content, and I urge all respected people to refrain from becoming part of this unnecessary campaign. I also want to thank everyone who has supported me.”
