Twisha Sharma Case: ‘This is a well-planned conspiracy…’ Twisha’s family angry over the surrender of main accused Samarth Singh.

A new and extremely shocking twist has come in the Twisha Sharma death case. Twisha’s family has termed the main accused Samarth Singh’s attempt to surrender in the court as a ‘well-planned conspiracy’. Twisha’s brother-in-law Saurabh Sharma on Saturday made very serious allegations and said that Samarth Singh’s withdrawal of bail and then his sudden insistence on surrender is just a drama to avoid legal trouble.

Let us tell you that Samarth Singh is the main accused in the case of suspicious death of 33 year old Twisha Sharma. On Saturday, Bhopal Police arrested him when he expressed his desire to withdraw his bail plea and surrender.

‘The entire conspiracy was hatched even before the case study was received’

During an exclusive conversation with ANI, the pain and anger of Twisha’s brother-in-law Saurabh Sharma was clearly visible. He told that accused Samarth Singh had prepared this entire plan very cleverly to surrender after taking back his bail. He said, “His surrender in Jabalpur is nothing but a well-planned conspiracy. When we were in the High Court, he was out on bail. But he suddenly took back his bail and made a plan to surrender. After this, before the case study was received or any new order came, he went straight to the police station and surrendered.”

Saurabh Sharma further mentioned the atmosphere at the police station and said, “The scene there was very strange, a lot of misbehavior was happening. There was a huge crowd of lawyers, many of whom were abusing. The media was also kept away and they were not able to do anything. The extent reached when none of the family members were allowed inside. After this, he was brought to Khatara Hills police station here at around 2:30 in the morning.”

Police caught the accused, sought 7 days remand from the court

Amidst this entire drama, police officials on Saturday made it clear that Samarth Singh has been arrested from Jabalpur. Now the police is preparing to take the accused on remand and conduct strict interrogation. Giving information about the case, ACP Rajneesh Kashyap said, “Our team has arrested the accused Samarth Singh from Jabalpur. We are going to present him in the court today itself. The Police Commissioner will also hold a press conference at 1 pm regarding this matter. We will demand 7-day police remand of Samarth Singh from the court so that the truth can come out.”

Crying family demands CBI investigation, alleges use of influence

Many days have passed since Twisha’s death, but the family is in bad condition, crying. Twisha’s brother-in-law said that although the court has given permission for second postmortem of the body, no final decision or action has been taken yet. He appealed to the administration, saying, “The sooner the medical committee is formed, the better it will be for us. It is not yet clear whether the AIIMS team will come here itself or the body will be airlifted and sent there. We just want this process to be completed as soon as possible.”

On the other hand, the victim’s uncle Lokesh Sharma has directly accused the interference of influential people and senior officials in this entire matter. He has demanded immediate CBI inquiry for impartial investigation of this case. Lokesh Sharma made direct allegations, saying, “This is all a well-planned move by his family, as they know the intricacies of the law very well. The mother of the accused is a judge herself! The police should have sent both mother and son behind bars long ago. Our girl’s body is still rotting in the mortuary, and the entire family is going through unbearable pain.”

He further said emotionally, “If the CBI intervenes in this matter, then only those criminals and senior officers who are constantly trying to influence this legal process will be controlled. What has been done cannot be changed, but further action should be taken immediately. The CBI should take over the case as soon as possible and a second postmortem should be done, so that we can at least perform the last rites of our daughter with respect.”

The marriage took place in December, the lamp of the house got extinguished in May itself.

It is noteworthy that Twisha Sharma, a resident of Noida, got married with Samarth Singh, a resident of Bhopal, in December 2025 with great enthusiasm. But just a few months after the marriage, on May 12, Twisha died under suspicious circumstances. Since Twisha’s death, her maternal family has made serious allegations against her husband Samarth Singh and her in-laws. The family says that since marriage, Twisha was being subjected to continuous mental torture and was continuously harassed for dowry, due to which she lost her life.
